My air conditioning system will not stop blowing air in my home.

If your air coditioning system will not stop blowing air in your home, the first thing to check is your thermostat. Make sure your fan setting is set to the auto setting rather than the on setting. If the fan setting is set to the on position, the evaporator fan motor will not shut off when temperature is met. It will continue to run non stop until it is taken off the setting and set to auto. If you find that your thermostat is set correctly most likely you have an electrical problem in your system. A service technician should be contacted to diagnose your system. Some examples of what could cause this are.

  •  Bad fan relay/ control board
  •  Bad thermostat
  •  Shorted thermostat wire
  •  Bad sequenser
